Just Curvy Things

That time I did boudoir modeling.

Last month, I had the opportunity to do some boudoir modeling for Silk & Lace Boudoir in Washington, DC! It was, far and away, the best boudoir experience of my life for a multitude of reasons.

Before the shoot, Cynthia learned my tastes via e-mail, phone and a questionnaire. This allowed her to customize the boudoir shoot experience to my wants and needs, right down to the music playlist.

This was my first boudoir shoot in which I was not carrying the pain and worry of chronic migraines and trying to hold myself together and hide it to the best of my ability. There is a certain beauty in that.

The hair and makeup artist was Naim of getsomeglitter.com. The photographer was Cynthia Loaiza of Silk & Lace Boudoir. The wardrobe items are mine. Here is the first boudoir shoot of my 30s…
